    Darebin City Brass Community Band (Formerly Preston Municipal Band, Established 1934) is an "A" Grade Brass Band supported by the City of Darebin and serves the Darebin Community through concerts at Citizenship Ceremonies, at Carols by Candlelight and in local Parkes and Gardens

 

    Our mission statement it to produce musical excellence in an enjoyable and rewarding environment.

 

    The Band serves the Municipalities of Preston, Northcote, Alphington, Reservoir and Thornbury.

 

    The Band is a regular participant in the Darebin Arts' Festival, Darebin Music Expo, and in other cultural activities both within the city and the wider community

 

    Darebin City Brass has toured overseas, competing and giving concerts in New Zealand and the United Kingdom and regularly preforms in Australian National and Victorian competitions.

 

    Our Brass Band is available for indoor and outdoor performances, promotion and awards' nights, including concerts, fashion parades and street parades.
